Final Fantasy V Comes To Life In Pixel Remaster

Square Enix has announced that the next entry in the Final Fantasy pixel remaster series, Final Fantasy V, will launch 10th November on Steam and mobile platforms.

Originally released in 1992, Final Fantasy V follows a young man and his Chocobo who find themselves drawn toward friends that will change their destiny. When the crystals that balance the powers of the world are threatened, the king hastens to the rescue only to go missing himself.

This pixel remaster of the game will feature many improvements and updates, including: updated 2D graphics featuring iconic designs created by the original artist Kazuko Shibuya, a rearranged soundtrack overseen by original composer Nobuo Uematsu, improved gameplay, including modernized UI and auto-battle options, and quality-of-life improvements such as the ability to save at any time.

Well-regarded for its deep and customizable job system, which allows players to freely select jobs for their characters to master, Final Fantasy V supports many different playstyles and expands on the iconic Active-Time Battle system, which shows players through ever-increasing gauges when they are able to attack, allowing a deeper level of strategy.

For over 30 years, Final Fantasy has delighted generations of gamers with RPG adventures that offer imaginative worlds rich in stories and memorable characters and each mainline game is a completely unique experience that offers new players an entry point to the series.

Final Fantasy V launches 10th November on Steam, iOS, Android and Amazon Appstore.
