Terraria Sells 1 Million Copies In 3 Weeks After China Launch

505 Games has announced that Terraria sold over 1 million units in mainland China on mobile platforms and soared to the top of local charts on TapTap and the iOS App Store in both the premium and sandbox game categories.

Terraria, developed by Re-Logic and published by 505 Games globally on mobile and console platforms, is a side-scrolling action-adventure that blends a traditional 2D combat system with expansive crafting mechanics and randomly generated pixel worlds.

In China, 505 Games partnered for Greater China territories with the leading mobile premium game publisher, XD Inc. After the successful launch in Mainland China, 505 Games and XD Inc. are looking forward to next years’ release in the rest of Greater China.
